INSTRUCTIONAL SESSIONS
Based on the answers to a camper questionnaire, campers are broken down into groups of eight. These groups are based on experience and ability — Beginner, Novice, Intermediate, and Advanced. This way the camper works within his or her peer group and can get the most out ot the sessions. Our on-ice and off-ice sessions are tailored the group’s ability.
The on-ice student:teacher ratio is 4:2 or 8:1 depending on the session. The majority of our campers are in the beginner and intermediate groupings... however, we do have a number of competitive teams who attend the camp.
With our three-day camps, instructional clinics are typically staged during the first two days. On the final day, campers participate in “Game Situations Analysis” games where instructors are assigned to four person teams to provide input on strategy, shot options, and reinforce the lessons learned over the weekend.
